Welcome to Becky May Hypnotherapy, available in Bristol and Online.
If you’re struggling with anxiety, phobias, low confidence, habits that feel hard to break, or difficult emotions, you don’t have to face it alone. I provide a safe, supportive space where we can work together to understand what’s happening for you and find practical, lasting ways forward.

I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy. Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy combines evidence-based psychological techniques with the power of hypnosis to help you make positive change. It’s a structured, solution-focused approach, but one that also recognises that our past experiences shape how we think, feel, and behave today.
I work face to face from comfortable, private practice rooms in a number of convenient locations around Bristol or via Google Meet.
Let’s begin by understanding what’s going on for you — and where you’d like to be. I invite you to contact me to arrange a free initial consultation over the phone or video call to talk through your goals and explore how hypnotherapy could help. I will give you an initial idea of how many sessions may be needed.

I was impressed by the detail of the discussion we had before going into hypnosis and we discussed how my driving anxiety linked to some harmful negative core beliefs. I found the different mechanisms used during hypnosis particularly helpful and have been able to take them into the real world’ – Driving Anxiety Client
Becky quickly created a therapeutic relationship in which I felt secure. She put me at ease while listening to me carefully and getting to understand my issues and has helped me to review effectively my social anxiety issues and to think in a different benefical way’ – Social Anxiety Client
‘Working with Becky has been a transformative experience and has not only helped me address my fear of spiders but also equipped me with valuable skills for managing anxiety in other areas of my life’ – Arachnophobia Client
